Summary:
As a Data Engineer, a typical day involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions that support the generation, collection, and processing of data. The role includes creating efficient data pipelines, ensuring the accuracy and quality of data, and implementing processes to extract, transform, and load data across various systems. This position requires continuous collaboration with different teams to optimize data workflows and support organizational data needs, while managing the lifecycle of data assets to enable seamless data integration and accessibility.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable data architectures to support business requirements.
- Oversee the monitoring and optimization of data pipelines to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing within the team.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Google BigQuery, Microsoft SQL Server, Python (Programming Language).
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Python (Programming Language).
- Strong knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.
- Experience in building and managing ETL workflows and data integration processes.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and processing platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex data pipelines for performance and scalability.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Google BigQuery.
- This position is based at our PDC2C - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
