 As we continue to grow, we have an outstanding opportunity to join the business as a Graduate Underwriting Analyst. In this position, you will be responsible for maximising the profitability of our warranty business across several major accounts. You will analyse, forecast and manage the profitability of new and existing lines of warranty business across corporate and consumer products and will deliver insights that shape pricing decisions. This role will expose to stakeholders across the business and put you in the middle of critical business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of warranty products and accounts and analysing their performance against cost and margin targets.
• Modelling pricing structures for new and existing warranty business in order to ensure pricing, commercial arrangements and product design decisions deliver against cost and target margins.
• Producing long-term projections of expected performance.
• Assessing and advising on warranty product risk and likely claim levels.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following:

• A degree in a numerically focused subject such as mathematics, statistics or actuarial studies.
• Exposure to analytical work where  you have worked with financial models, gained through an internship or placement year.
• Knowledge of financial concepts such as budgeting, forecasting and pricing.
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to work with complex data sets.
• Strong numerical skills and a passion for working with data.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently whilst collaborating with different teams across the business.
