Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of materials and finished goods. You will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting customer satisfaction, and ensuring the smooth flow of products throughout the warehouse.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $21.71 per hour
Principal Responsibilities
- Successfully complete forklift certification and safely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and order selectors
- Pick and prepare sales orders, work orders, and transfer orders accurately and efficiently
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to process inventory transactions and transfers
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
- Identify and report shipment discrepancies, shortages, damages, or quality concerns
- Unload, label, organize, and store incoming materials in designated warehouse locations
- Distribute received materials to appropriate departments or storage areas
- Prepare, validate, pack, and stage customer orders for shipment, including UPS and LTL freight shipments
- Assist with loading outbound shipments and ensuring orders are shipped accurately and on time
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper material handling and transaction processing
- Support cycle counts and participate in annual physical inventory activities
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- 1-3 years experience of shipping and receiving experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment using RF gun and warehouse systems
- 1 year of experience operating powered industrial trucks, including forklift and reach trucks
- Ability to read and interpret safety procedures, operating instructions, and work orders
- Basic mathematical skills, including working with whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percentages
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with changing priorities
Working Conditions:
- May be exposed to a moderate level of hazards in the work environment, such as chemicals, commercial products, exposure to potential toxins, moving machinery, repetitive motion, excessive noise, powered industrial vehicle fork/reach/ bucket lift/other.
- May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels.
- May be required to perform a moderate level of specific tasks such as lifting up to 70 lbs, frequent changes in body movements, and working at heights of up to 20 feet.
- May experience progressive degrees of changing factors in the work process (changing work priorities, deadlines, accuracy, quotas, conflicting demands)
- Required to spend the majority of their shift bending, stretching, walking, and standing.
