Xolopak-Production Manager (Injection Moulding)

Job Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager with expertise in injection moulding to lead production

operations, optimize manufacturing processes, ensure product quality and drive continuous improvement. The ideal

candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of injection moulding, mould maintenance, tooling and process

optimization while ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong hands-on experience in injection moulding processes and production operations.

• Expertise in maintenance of injection moulds and hot runner systems.

• Proficient in troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical injection moulding machines.

• Sound knowledge of ISO standards, 5S and Quality Circles.

• Problem solving mindset with expertise in mould correction and tool room operation

• Expertise in DFM, identify defects and recommend modifications.

• Prior tooling experience to achieve better part quality at optimum cost

• Able to study mold flow report & mold flow analysis to evaluate design feasibility and suggest design changes.

• Conduct buy off/HVPT trails, tool commissioning, trouble shooting of molding defects and support tool

correction. Able to independently conduct mold trials at supplier/customer end to demonstrate and validate

zero defect product.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Plastic Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or a related

field.

• 8–12 years of relevant experience in injection moulding manufacturing.

• A Diploma in Plastic Mould Technology or certification in Injection Moulding, Tool Design, Lean

Manufacturing, Six Sigma or Quality Management Systems will be an added advantage.
