Join Lonza's Production Support team and play an essential role in enabling the manufacture of life-changing therapies. As a Process Operator, you will perform critical cleanroom operations, ensure compliance with GMP requirements, and help maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational excellence.

This is a fully site-based role. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards. This role is on a rotating shift including days and night and weekends more details available.

The full-time annual base pay for this position in the Netherlands is expected to range between 32,250 and 45,150 Euros. Initial salary placement within this range will be determined based on role-related factors such as experience, qualifications, and expected contribution.

What you will do

• Perform cryopreservation activities according to the production schedule while ensuring compliance with GMP requirements.

• Execute the transfer, storage, and retrieval of cryopreserved samples.

• Perform Filter Integrity Testing (FIT) and support equipment qualification activities.

• Operate automated decontamination equipment, including autoclaves and Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide (VHP) systems.

• Review batch documentation and complete production records accurately and on time.

• Ensure materials are available, within expiry dates, and ready to support manufacturing activities.

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas while promptly reporting deviations, quality concerns, or safety issues to supervisors.

What we are looking for

• Technical education or equivalent experience, preferably with a background in science or logistics.

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline is preferred.

• Entry-level experience (0–4 years) in manufacturing, science, logistics, or a related environment.

• Business-level English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work effectively in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize routine and repetitive tasks while maintaining quality.

• A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive approach with a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning.
