WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

JAGGAER is looking for a Software Engineer to join one of our Product Development Teams (PDTs) that manage our Procure-To-Pay (P2P) application suite of products. Our PDT’s use AGILE software development principles to build great products that serve the needs of our customer base– gathering and reviewing user requirements, database and application design, coding, testing, installation and maintenance, customer training and product roll out.

 

The Engineer on the team contributes through technical programming expertise but are an essential part of all team activities. You will collaborate with our other Product Development Teams (working on the same product) to ensure continuity of architecture and design. Within this role you'll report to an on-site Software development manager.

Principal Responsibilities

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisting Senior Engineer with analysis and design of programming efforts based on Product Team requirements
• Participating in user story creation and sprint planning activities
• Developing application code conforming with the standards and coding “best practices” of the JAGGAER Development Team
• Participating in code reviews for other team members
• Working closely with our QA Test Team to ensure the highest possible product quality on delivery.

 

Position Requirements

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar discipline
• At least 3+ years’ professional experience developing software is desired
• Experience with:
• Java
• SQL
• RDBMS – Oracle experience is a plus
• HTML/CSS/JavaScript
• Modern client-side JavaScript frameworks (Dojo or React experience a plus) including:
• Asynchronous request processing
• Single page application development
• Responsive Design/Container based layouts (Dynamic Positioning, FlexBox, etc.)
• JSON
• Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills#LI-AR1
