Iron Mountain is seeking a vision-driven EDP Support Engineer to join our Enterprise Data Platform team.
In this role, you will play a key part in designing, managing, and maintaining the cloud data components that power our core integration, reporting, and analytics solutions. Working closely with cross-functional global teams, you'll have the opportunity to build automated data pipelines and refine big data architectures that keep our digital transformation moving forward. Here, your technical expertise in cloud platforms and data engineering will help unlock actionable insights from complex data ecosystems.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities) In this role, you will:
Develop and manage cloud platform components: Build, maintain, and enhance cloud data architectures to support reliable reporting and integration.
Create automated data pipelines: Design efficient ETL workflows using Airflow or Talend to ensure high-quality data access across teams.
Optimize system performance and resolve technical issues: Leverage Python, Docker, and Kubernetes to improve system architecture and reduce operational overhead.
Collaborate and innovate: Research emerging technologies and participate in peer code reviews within an Agile/Scrum environment.
What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications) The ideal candidate will have:
5+ years of experience in information technology with 3+ years building complex ETL pipelines.
Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery SQL, Python, and Big Data technologies.
Proven ability in utilizing DevOps and automation tools (PaaS, Docker, Kubernetes) to streamline data workflows.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; GCP Certified Data Engineer or Solutions Architect certifications are highly preferred.
