Responsibilities
As the Manager – Finance Technology (Sales Audit, Procure-to-Pay, Tax, and Operational Governance), you will lead the strategy, delivery, support, and continuous improvement of Foot Locker's Finance Technology portfolio. In this role, you will:
- Become a Visionary Leader: Craft and execute technology roadmaps, champion modernization initiatives, and drive the evolution of Finance Technology platforms supporting Sales Audit, Procure-to-Pay, Financial Reporting, Tax, Risk Management, and Compliance.
- Own Critical Finance Technology Workstreams: Provide end-to-end ownership of the Sales Audit & History, Procure-to-Pay, Tax, Risk Management, Financial Reporting, Compliance, Contract Administration, and Supplier Management technology portfolios. Partner with business stakeholders to prioritize initiatives, manage demand, and align technology investments with strategic business objectives.
- Lead Technology Delivery: Drive large-scale global implementations, upgrades, integrations, enhancements, and transformation initiatives across the assigned portfolio, ensuring timely delivery, quality outcomes, and business value realization.
- Drive Business Partnership & Transformation: Collaborate with Accounting, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Tax, Risk Management, Internal Audit, Loss Prevention, and Financial Reporting teams to deliver solutions that improve operational effectiveness, financial controls, compliance, and reporting capabilities.
- Manage Enterprise Applications: Lead the ongoing enhancement, integration, and operational support of platforms such as Aptos Sales Audit, Vertex, Origami, Vena, ARS, PeopleSoft Financials, Oracle Cloud Financials, and related Finance Technology solutions.
- Lead Operational Governance & Service Excellence: Provide overall accountability for the stability, availability, performance, and supportability of the Entire Finance Technology portfolio. Govern application support, incident management, problem management, change management, service levels, and vendor operations while ensuring business continuity and operational excellence.
- Lead Vendor Partnerships: Manage strategic vendor relationships, onsite and offshore delivery teams, and support partners to ensure service excellence, delivery quality, operational stability, and alignment with business objectives.
- Communicate with Impact: Provide clear communication to business and technology leadership regarding strategic initiatives, project status, operational performance, risks, and critical incidents.
- Develop High-Performing Teams: Lead, mentor, and develop Finance Technology professionals while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
Qualifications
Experience
A proven track record of Finance system implementation, application management, portfolio leadership, and delivering large-scale Finance transformation initiatives in complex enterprise environments in the core workstreams given above.
Core Expertise
- Extensive experience managing and optimizing Finance Technology platforms supporting Sales Audit, Procure-to-Pay, Financial Reporting, Tax, Risk Management, Compliance, and accounting functions.
- Strong experience with Sales Audit platforms such as Aptos or similar retail financial systems.
- Experience supporting Procure-to-Pay processes including Accounts Payable, invoice matching, supplier management, procurement operations, and Travel & Expense solutions.
- Experience leading production support organizations, managing critical incidents, governing vendor-supported operations, and supporting 24x7 business-critical finance and retail applications.
- Experience establishing support governance models, service level agreements (SLAs), operational metrics, and support processes for enterprise Finance applications.
- Demonstrated expertise in integrating enterprise applications with PeopleSoft Financials, Oracle Cloud Financials, and other large-scale ERP ecosystems.
- Experience managing hybrid technology landscapes consisting of SaaS, cloud, on-premises, and custom-developed applications.
- Experience with Mainframe and .NET-based custom applications is a plus.

- Retail Finance and Accounting Processes
And a fair understanding of all other Financial workstreams
Leadership Skills
Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams, manage strategic vendor relationships, influence stakeholders, and successfully deliver complex business and technology initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Methodology Exposure
Well-versed in SDLC methodologies for project delivery and Agile practices supporting application development, release management, DevOps, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Operational Excellence
Strong experience governing production support organizations, leading critical incident management, coordinating cross-functional technical teams, managing vendor-supported operations, and ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of business-critical Finance and Retail applications.
Analytical Thinking
Strong problem-solving and data-driven decision-making skills, with a focus on operational excellence, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
Collaboration
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to work effectively across Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Audit, Risk, and Technology organizations.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Benefits
The annual base salary range is $100,000 - $120,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
