Main Accountabilities:  

• Plan, coordinate, and execute daily and weekly distribution schedules with logistics service providers (LSPs), customer service, planning, and commercial teams to ensure on-time delivery and fulfilment of customer requirements.
• Lead the implementation and execution of Logistics Safety and Security programs covering road transportation, warehouse operations, and in-transit activities to ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, customer requirements, CTPAT and WRAP expectations.
• Develop, review, and maintain Logistics Safety and Security Risk Assessments on an annual basis and whenever operational changes or incidents require reassessment.
• Lead and manage all Logistics Safety and Security incident investigations, ensuring timely root cause analysis, corrective actions, and regular updates to key stakeholders including Commercial, Plant Operations, and Quality Control (QC). Enforce accountability on LSPs that fail to meet investigation requirements or deadlines.
• Plan, conduct, and lead Logistics Service Provider (LSP) Safety and Security performance audits. Implement improvement plans, establish corrective actions with clear deadlines, and take appropriate actions against LSPs that fail to achieve minimum compliance standards or audit scores.
• Review and ensure all transportation units entering the site comply with site safety, security, and operational requirements while maintaining effective turnaround times.
• Prepare and submit weekly logistics performance reports for HPPM and CCS management. Consolidate logistics data and reports for monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) meetings. Manage end-to-end delivery performance and address customer complaints, including short-weight claims, product quality concerns, suspected pilferage, delivery discrepancies, and Logistics Service Provider (LSP) performance issues, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder communication.
• Champion, review and update Road Transport Safety and Security Manual (RTSSM).
