Job Description

As a Security Officer Graveyard Train Station Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will conduct routine rounds, report observations, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or public agencies as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, observe and report unusual conditions, and document incidents, patrols, and relevant activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by providing directions, communicating professionally with diverse individuals, and supporting established visitor and employee access processes.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
