Role summary:The (USA) Technician, General Facilities Maintenance, is responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities and equipment. They collaborate to troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and manage maintenance schedules while following safety and regulatory standards. What you'll do:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities, equipment, and fixtures.
- Inspect, clean, and repair facilities equipment, documenting signs of wear and recommending necessary repairs or replacements.
- Conduct major and minor repairs using multiple craft skills, including electrical diagnostics, plumbing, carpentry, and power tool operation.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and document all repair activities accurately.
- Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractor compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Order parts, track expenses, and maintain maintenance logs in accordance with regulatory requirements.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in preventive maintenance and facility repair to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Proficiency in electrical diagnostics, repairs, and power tool operation for timely issue resolution.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs to accurately diagnose and address equipment problems.
- Strong organizational skills to manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractor coordination effectively.
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations to maintain compliance and uphold quality standards.
- Capability to document maintenance activities and recommend repair or replacement needs based on inspections.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

Vocational or Technical certification and 3 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade or 5 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade.Valid Driver's License.
Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
