Sr. Software EngineerJob Description
Skills Required:
Familiar with all aspects of hardware design and development of new products & customized products.
Strong communication skills in English.
Strong 3D CAD modeling (ProE ) for mechanical design and Auto CAD to perform system layout. FEA/CFD knowledge is a plus
Fundamentals of mechatronics system as robotic mechanisms, including motors, bearings, sensors, actuators.
Strong knowledge of automation controls, robotics, semiconductor system integration.
Ability to read & understand electrical/pneumatics diagram
Knowledge of materials and mechanical fabrication process , good design practices for the material of choice.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English, able to prepare technical reports, presentations. Ability to understand Marketing Requirements Document and Engineering Design Specification.
Hands on skill for assembly and troubleshooting of mechatronics systems/ components.
Ability to estimate tasks for completing projects and follow schedules.
Knowledge of SEMI standards a plus.
Knowledge of Vision system is a plus
Experience with Agile/AgileEC.
Experience with AutoCAD a plus
Education/Training:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics is required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in an automation product development environment, knowledge of Semiconductors or similar Automation equipment.
Key Job Events/Responsibilities:
Design/Development of new products for the semiconductor industry following Brooks process/industry standards, participate from concept through production release.
Produce and release 3D models, drawings and BOM’s per the Brooks process
Working with Product engineering team & FSE to lead and provide onsite /offsite technical support to customers, resolving and managing escalations.
Build & test prototypes, holding cross functional design review, publish DR/DVT record.
Support operations, supply chain, and quality
Other job duties as assigned by manager.
Salary Ranges
NT$1,629,503.39 TWD to NT$2,204,622.23 TWD
