Description
We are working closely with Southern Housing to assist with the appointment of a Contract Manager, on a 6.5-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £26.95 - £35.59 per hour
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager (Operations) to oversee the operational management, governance and performance of contracts across a diverse housing portfolio. This role focuses on ensuring contractual obligations are translated into effective day-to-day service delivery, driving compliance, performance, risk management and continuous improvement while working closely with internal teams and external partners.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage operational contract management frameworks, ensuring compliance, governance and performance across service contracts.
- Monitor contractor and service provider performance against KPIs, SLAs and contractual obligations, implementing corrective actions where required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, service providers, local authorities and external partners.
- Lead contract audits, risk assessments, contract variations and investigations into contractual breaches or underperformance.
- Produce performance reports and recommendations for senior management, committees and the Board, driving continuous improvement and value for money.
Essentials:
- Significant experience in operational contract management within a service-led environment.
- Experience managing complex contracts, service agreements and supplier performance.
- Strong knowledge of contract governance, compliance and risk management.
- Experience monitoring KPIs, SLAs and implementing performance improvement plans.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build effective working relationships.
- Experience conducting contract audits, reviews and managing contractual issues.
