Founder’s Associate Intern (m/f/d) Venture Building

As a Founder’s Associate Intern, you’ll spend your internship embedded in one of our portfolio companies, **therapie1**, while working closely with the founders of both therapie1 and ThirtyEight Capital.

therapie1 is redefining outpatient physiotherapy by combining outstanding therapists, modern technology and operational excellence to create a new standard of patient care. You’ll join at an exciting stage of growth and work on projects that have a direct impact on the business.

This is not a typical internship. From day one, you’ll take ownership, solve real business challenges and gain first-hand experience building a high-growth company from the inside.

## Tasks

• Work directly with the founder and leadership team on strategic and operational initiatives.
• Drive cross-functional projects with real business impact.
• Analyze markets, competitors and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
• Support new clinic launches and expansion projects.
• Improve internal processes and implement AI-powered workflows.
• Build financial models, presentations and business cases for key decisions.
• Collaborate across operations, marketing, finance and business development.
• Take ownership of projects from idea to execution.

## Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on attitude.
• High level of ownership and willingness to take responsibility.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Experience with Excel, PowerPoint and AI tools such as ChatGPT is a plus.
• Previous experience in startups, consulting, venture capital or private equity is a plus, but not required.
