Building Control Surveyor - Class 2F

Job description

MOST IMPORTANT BIT:

 

BSR registration Minimum Class 2F

5 days a week , 37 hours

Day rate: £540 – Outside IR35

4 month contract

 

Site inspector with min plan checking

Must have full driving license, access to a car and business use car insurance

 

Responsibilities:

• Review plans for a diverse range of construction projects.
• Conduct on-site inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations.
• Provide Building Control advice through various channels (phone, email, in person).
• Inspect dangerous structures during regular working hours.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and correspondence.
• Support the training of Trainee and Assistant Surveyors.
• Assist the Principal Surveyor and Team Manager with additional team duties.

 

Required Skills: Minimum Class 2A BSR Registration.

 

• Full corporate membership status with a recognized professional body such as RICS, CABE, or CIOB.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Eagerness to learn and develop both soft and technical skills.
• Strong team player with a sense of responsibility.
