Software Engineer (Full-Stack)

Position Overview: 

As a Software Engineer (Full-Stack) at Intapp, you’ll work on an AI-powered, industry-specific cloud platform that transforms professional and financial services firms. Collaborating with senior engineers, technical leads, product managers, and designers, you’ll have ample mentorship opportunities for skills development and career progression. You’ll be part of an innovative team, enhancing existing software and developing new products, contributing to core features and product innovation within established frameworks. This is a hybrid role that requires the successful candidate to be at the Lisbon office 3 days/week.

What you will do:

• Design and implement complex backend solutions using .NET, .NET Core, and C#, leveraging ASP.NET, Entity Framework, and LINQ to build scalable, secure, and maintainable services

• Build rich, performant front-end applications using Angular and React, applying modern patterns such as component-driven architecture, state management (NgRx/Redux), lazy loading, and accessibility best practices

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, contribute to system architecture discussions, and propose technical solutions

• Develop scalable and reliable cloud-native, microservices-based applications on the Azure Cloud Platform

• Follow best practices for security, performance, and reliability in software development and cloud architecture

• Write clean, well-structured code following established coding standards and practices

• Participate in code reviews, absorb feedback, and continuously improve coding skills

• Stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in software development and cloud computing

• Identify and proactively resolve technical challenges to continuously evolve how products are engineered at Intapp and prevent the occurrence of production incidents

What you will need:

• Proven track record working with .NET, .NET Core, and C# (typically 4+ years of hands-on experience), including ASP.NET, Entity Framework, and LINQ

• Senior-level experience building production applications with both Angular (v18+) and React 19, including deep familiarity with their ecosystems — Angular CLI, RxJS, Angular Material, React Hooks, React Server Components, and modern tooling such as Vite or Next.js

• Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS architecture (e.g., SCSS, CSS Modules), and responsive/adaptive design

• Experience with front-end testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright) and a commitment to testable UI code

• Prior experience architecting resilient microservices systems leveraging CI/CD pipelines and automated monitoring, with a focus on performance optimization

• Advanced understanding of MS SQL Server and T-SQL, with experience designing high-performance data architectures; familiarity with NoSQL databases

• Experience with Azure or other major cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud)

• Hands-on experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD automation tools, with strong Git proficiency and knowledge of containerization and orchestration

• Fluent in English
