Job Descriptions

Primary Responsibilities

• Receiving, handling, uncrating/unboxing large product in preparation for assembly.
• Assembly of customer's finished product at customer premises on time to contractual lead times and schedule.
• Accurate Placement of product using specialist measuring equipment.
• Assembly and fitment of intricate sub-assemblies.
• Fitment and routing of cables.
• Testing and verification of finished product
• Packing, handling, dispatch of return materials and packaging.
• Use of IT applications to plan and execute work and update completion of tasks.
• Communication of schedule and related tasks to colleagues and customers up and down stream to ensure seamless process flow.
• Provide training and coaching to new and less experienced colleagues and temp workers.
• Supervision and guidance to workers to always ensure safety and best practice.

• To maintain high standard of cleanliness designated work areas
• Must be hands on and technically minded with an interest in build and assembly of product.
• Experience in a production / manufacturing environment an advantage.
• Able to read, understand and execute in line with Standard Operating Procedures and Technical Instructions.
• Able to build a strong rapport and working relationships with colleagues, customer and other third parties.
• Take initiative to provide ideas for continuous improvement.
• Manual work which entails long periods in standing position and handling and lifting of heavy goods.
• Able to work well as part of team, sharing best practice and ideas and ensuring the safety of self and others.
• Occasional requirement to support overtime and weekends during peak periods.
• Support logistics activities in a warehouse environment.
• Receiving, inventory management and control, pick, pack, dispatch. Manual handling of product and equipment.

Job Requirements

• This position requires minimum 5-years of relevant work experience in warehousing and logistics.
• Minimum SPM or Diploma in Logistics or Business Administration.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and drive results effectively.
• Possess knowledge in Warehouse Management System (WMS) & SAP.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
• Proficient in English.
• Forklift license would be an advantage.

Salary Range: RM2,500 - 3,200
