Description
Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit an IT Support Technician to join our client's team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and solutions-oriented IT professional who enjoys providing technical support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering first-line and second-line IT support, maintaining end-user devices and systems, and ensuring employees receive timely and effective assistance with their technical needs. Working closely with internal teams and external service providers, the IT Support Technician will contribute to maintaining a reliable IT infrastructure while continuously improving support processes and documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line and second-line IT support, managing support tickets from initial request through to resolution.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot workstations, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and standard software.
- Support user onboarding and offboarding, including account provisioning, hardware setup, access management, and deprovisioning.
- Assist with maintaining network infrastructure, operating systems, Microsoft technologies, and endpoint management while resolving connectivity and hardware issues.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge-base articles while collaborating with third-party vendors when required.
Key Requirements:
- EQF Level 4 qualification or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience in desktop, systems, application, or network support.
- Good knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft Intune, and Google Workspace.
- Experience using IT service management or ticketing tools such as Jira Service Management, along with remote support solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to support users in a multilingual environment.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and provide occasional after-hours support when required.
