Job Responsibilities
The Manager Surveillance Investigations is responsible for protecting the assets of the casino, ensuring the integrity of gaming operations and food & beverage operations, and maintaining a safe environment for guests and employees. This position involves the use of advanced surveillance technology and investigative techniques to detect, document, and investigate instances of fraud, theft, cheating, and other illegal activities. The Manager Surveillance Investigations works closely with surveillance personnel, security staff, casino management, and law enforcement agencies.
Essential Duties / Core Competencies
- Conduct thorough investigations of suspected fraud, theft, cheating, and other illegal activities committed by patrons or employees, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, digital recording devices, and other technologies, to monitor casino operations and gather evidence.
- Analyze surveillance footage, financial records, and other data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that may indicate fraudulent or illegal activity.
- Document all investigative activities, findings, and evidence in a clear, concise, and accurate manner, preparing detailed written reports.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of casino games, rules, regulations, and internal controls.
- Stay up to date on the latest trends and techniques in casino cheating, fraud, and theft.
- Identify vulnerabilities in casino operations and security systems and recommend measures to prevent future losses.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all investigations and sensitive information.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Surveillance Director.
- Excellent observation, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Fluency in English required; second language a plus.
- Strong knowledge of casino operations and food & beverage operations, gaming regulations, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in the use of surveillance equipment and technology, including CCTV systems, digital recording devices, and POS software.
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial records and other data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely document findings and present information.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a variety of individuals, including casino personnel and law enforcement.
- Ability to maintain composure and exercise sound judgment in stressful situations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Work/Educational Experience
- Must be 18 years old or older and have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules and regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or related field AND two (2) years’ experience in a Supervisory position
- OR Four (4) years’ experience in a Management position
- OR Two (2) years’ experience in a Supervisory position within Resorts World
- Six (6) years’ related Surveillance work experience

The position requires the ability to sit for extended periods while monitoring surveillance systems, as well as the capacity to walk and stand for prolonged durations as operational needs dictate. Candidates must possess sufficient manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other related equipment efficiently. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is also regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, and to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, stretch, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Visual acuity, with or without corrective lenses, is essential for accurately observing surveillance footage. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Additionally, clear hearing and effective verbal communication skills are necessary to perform the duties of the role successfully.
Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least twenty-five (25) pounds, and varied instances of standing/walking.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests. Fluency in English required, second language a plus. Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.
Mathematical Skills & Reasoning Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request. Ability to analyze situations and make decisions is a fast-paced environment.

- The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate. When on the property or some back of house areas, the noise level increases to loud. Must be able to interact with internal and external guests in a professional manner.

Pay Transparency: $105,000 - $110,000
