Description
Position Summary:
Ensuring all tasks in the area of production planning cans
Key Activities / Measurables:
- Conduct weekly short- and medium-term planning based on forecasts and overarching can planning for Food and VSP
- Create daily and weekly production schedules
- Reconciliation between short-term scheduling and medium-term planning
- Coordinating planning activities within Sonoco as part of the supply chain
- Participation in the PSI process Europe for the VSP division
- Ensure continuity of material supply in close collaboration with the Ends and MPC planners
- independent and responsible material requirements planning and coordination with other departments
- Striving for optimal inventories while ensuring customer service and optimizing plant utilization
- Participation in the further development of existing planning methods
- Representation of colleagues within production planning

Knowledge & Skills Required:

- Solid experience with common MS Office software
