Job Summary:
The Offshore Material Coordinator (Drilling) is responsible for coordinating material movements, inventory control, warehouse activities, and logistics support to ensure the timely availability of drilling materials and equipment for safe and efficient offshore operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, inspection, issuance, and return of drilling materials and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely availability of materials for offshore drilling operations.
- Coordinate material movements between warehouses, supply bases, vessels, and offshore rigs.
- Track Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), and delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and material transactions using SAP or other ERP systems.
- Support offshore logistics, cargo planning, vessel loading/backloading, and material tracking.
- Liaise with drilling, procurement, warehouse, logistics, vendors, and contractors to resolve material issues.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, HSE requirements, and inventory control standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Diploma or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience:
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in material coordination within offshore drilling or upstream Oil & Gas operations.
- Experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, offshore logistics, and drilling materials.
- Familiar with SAP or other ERP/material management systems.
- Experience supporting offshore drilling campaigns is an advantage.
