IG Prime is the institutional division of IG Group, a scaled, multi-asset platform delivering execution, clearing, financing, custody and market-leading technology on a single platform, backed by the strength of a FTSE 100 group.
We deliver global Liquidity, Prime Brokerage and White Label services to hedge funds, family offices, brokers, banks and introducing brokers worldwide, combining cutting-edge technology with deep market expertise to give our clients an edge.
Our London team based in IG Group's global headquarters, drives our revenue growth and plays a critical role in a business built on global client relationships.
Your Role in the Team's Success
Our team is responsible for driving revenues and growing IG Prime's market share across multiple geographies. You will be at the forefront of client-facing activities and expected to develop relationships from initial pitch through to onboarding and ongoing servicing — with a strong emphasis on structured commercial partnerships.
What You'll Do
We are looking for an experienced sales person to:
Build comprehensive knowledge of IG Prime's products and capabilities, with depth across our liquidity solutions, white-label offering, and API/FIX infrastructure salesperson
Identify, develop and win new clients across the retail broker, white-label platform and hedge fund segments, with a particular focus on IG's liquidity solutions
Lead commercial negotiations around execution rates, financing structures, and technology integration agreements
Work closely with internal stakeholders — including technology, onboarding and risk — to ensure seamless setup & support for new and existing partners
Partner with technology and product to continuously evolve IG Prime's product delivery, gathering client and market feedback to ensure relevance
Support and implement sales strategies across key regions to grow IG Prime's market share in the B2B and B2B2C space
Prepare and lead pitches with prospective partners, articulating IG Prime's liquidity and technology stack in a clear and compelling way
Represent the firm at industry events and conferences
Assist in the development of existing partner relationships to deepen integration and increase flow
Help develop controls, policies and procedures to improve efficiency for the sales team in London
What You'll Need
At least 5 years' experience in an institutional or B2B & B2B2C sales role, ideally within prime brokerage, CFD liquidity provision, or financial technology
Demonstrable experience selling to or partnering with white-label platforms, retail CFD brokers, or introducing brokers
A strong understanding of API and FIX-based liquidity distribution, and the ability to engage credibly with both commercial and technical counterparts
Familiarity with execution and financing structures, including spread/commission models, overnight financing, and rebate arrangements
An ability to confidently articulate complex financial and technology solutions to C-suite stakeholders
A drive and ambition to grow IG Prime's market share through new partnerships and expanded existing relationships
A strong client focus with a consultative, solutions-oriented approach
Proficiency in another language is preferred
