 About this Role

The Homefront Heroes Hiring (HHH) Program is designed to attract and hire spouses and domestic partners of actively serving military personnel to career opportunities through a military spouse-specific virtual hiring event and onboarding program.

Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Operations Associate to support operational excellence across technology services through data analysis, reporting, process improvement, risk management, and reliability initiatives. This role focuses on analyzing operational data, identifying recurring issues and improvement opportunities, supporting governance activities, and providing insights that improve service reliability, efficiency, and customer experience. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about leveraging data and technology to drive operational improvements.

In this Role, You Will

  • Analyze operational data, including incident, change, problem, availability, and performance metrics, to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, KPI scorecards, and executive-level presentations that provide actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support operational reviews and strategic initiatives through data analysis and recommendations that improve service reliability, efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Identify manual processes and operational inefficiencies, recommending automation and workflow optimization opportunities to reduce operational toil.
  • Partner with engineering, infrastructure, cloud, storage, backup, virtualization, and service management teams to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support technology risk management, governance, and control activities, including tracking remediation plans, operational improvement actions, and readiness assessments.
  • Assist with root cause analysis of recurring operational issues and contribute to the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Document business requirements, operational processes, findings, and improvement opportunities while effectively communicating insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ months of Technology Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 6+ months of experience in data analysis, including data review, reporting, and documentation.
  • 6+ months of hands-on experience using Microsoft Excel, including data organization, formulas, and basic analysis.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics, Technology Management, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a technology-driven or IT environment.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI) concepts and practical use of AI tools or platforms.
  • Experience in strategic problem-solving and data-informed decision-making, using analytical insights and sound judgment to identify trends and recommend solutions.
  • Strong experience building interactive Tableau dashboards and stories.
  • Proficiency with Power BI and data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of Generative AI, automation, intelligent document processing, or related emerging technologies.
  • Strong understanding of risk management, controls, and compliance within financial services.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement or process optimization methodologies.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple datasets, competing priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, including experience leading projects, initiatives, or development teams.
  • Ability to produce a copy of military orders including applicant
