About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist in Intensive and Critical Care Medicine to join a leading healthcare facility in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced critical care management to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), ensuring high-quality, evidence-based treatment for critically ill patients.This role requires strong clinical expertise, rapid decision-making skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary critical care team.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive care for critically ill patients in the ICUManage complex cases including sepsis, multi-organ failure, respiratory failure, and traumaPerform and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring and ventilatory supportManage invasive procedures including central venous catheterization, arterial lines, and intubationLead resuscitation efforts and emergency critical care interventionsCollaborate with anesthesiology, emergency medicine, surgery, and internal medicine teamsDevelop and implement individualized critical care treatment plansEnsure adherence to ICU protocols, infection control, and patient safety standardsParticipate in multidisciplinary ward rounds and case discussionsSupervise junior doctors, residents, and ICU nursing staffContribute to quality improvement, audits, and ICU clinical governanceMaintain up-to-date knowledge of critical care guidelines and best practicesRequirementsMedical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institutionBoard Certification or equivalent specialization in Intensive Care / Critical Care MedicineMinimum of 3–5 years’ experience in ICU or critical care setting (post-specialization preferred)Strong proficiency in advanced airway management and life-support proceduresExperience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoringExcellent clinical judgment and ability to work under pressureStrong communication, leadership, and teamwork skillsEligibility for UAE medical licensing (MOHAP for Sharjah)What We OfferCompetitive tax-free salary packageHousing and relocation assistance (depending on employer)Access to modern ICU facilities and advanced critical care technologyMultidisciplinary and supportive working environmentContinuous professional development opportunitiesStructured career progression within a leading healthcare system
