The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University is currently seeking a student employee as an office assistant for our campus location for the 2026-2027 School Year. Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Education Licensure, this person aids the Office of Educator Preparation. The candidate serves as a student-facing office assistant, and completes various projects as needed.

Job Responsibilities

  • Greet students and faculty and be a friendly and welcoming presence to answer questions or relay messages to the OEP Team
  • Prepare and update help documents for Gateway testing requirements and assist students with testing registration
  • Manage the testing preparation materials to support Pearson testing
  • Assist education students with Anthology Portfolio, state required testing, and applying for Gateways
  • Assist with presentations to courses in regard to; OEP, Gateways, Anthology, State EIS Account, etc.
  • Complete Word/Excel/PowerPoint projects as assigned by the OEP Team
  • Make copies, file, scan, and organize materials
  • Assist with the preparation and coordination of events
  • Mentor trainings, board meetings, student teacher events, etc.
  • General office upkeep and organization
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Enrollment in an Undergraduate program at SNHU
  • Experience and understanding of the education programs, Anthology and licensure gateways
  • Detail orientated and ability to manage time and multiple projects
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Products including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to make creative flyers and invitations
  • Prior customer service and/or office work experience
  • Work Study as part of their financial aid package
  • Willingness to visit classrooms and present licensure information to students

Work Schedule

Work hours fall typically Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm with flexibility to meet business demands as needed. This is an in-person and on campus role.

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $13.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
