The role
This is a fixed-term position. As part of our ambitious growth strategy, we are seeking a highly motivated and business-oriented OPUS METSA EDI & Stand Alone Apps Lead to join our Commercial Deployment team. This role will play a key part in supporting commercial systems, integrations, and transformation initiatives across multiple markets within the METSA region. This position is central to acting as a bridge between business and technology teams, taking ownership of commercial applications, system integrations, data flows, and local market solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work in a complex multi-country environment involving SAP, data platforms, sales applications, EDI integrations, and local commercial systems.
What you'll be responsible for
- Lead the collaboration between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to drive solution delivery and business outcomes.
- Lead requirement gathering, process analysis, and As-Is / To-Be design activities.
- Drive resolution of actions, risks, dependencies, and cross-functional topics with strong ownership.
- Take ownership of commercial application topics, including standalone and local market applications.
- Support the assessment, retention, integration, and rationalization of local applications as part of ongoing transformation programs.
- Coordinate and support EDI and external partner integrations across multiple markets.
- Collaborate closely with SAP, Data Lake, and integration teams to ensure seamless end-to-end processes and data flows.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into system, integration, and reporting solutions.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and validation across interconnected systems.
- Prepare clear executive-level updates, documentation, and stakeholder communications.
We're looking for someone who
Experience & Expertise:
- 3+ years of experience in IT Business Analysis, Commercial IT, or related technology roles.
- Strong experience working with SAP environments, commercial applications, and enterprise business processes.
- Hands-on understanding of system integrations, data flows, APIs, EDI, and middleware concepts.
- Experience working with Data Lakes, reporting platforms, and data-driven business solutions.
- Exposure to FMCG sales and distribution processes is highly preferred.
- Experience managing or supporting local/standalone commercial applications is considered a strong advantage.
Technical Skills:
Ability to understand both business processes and technical architectures.
- Hands-on understanding of system integrations, data flows, APIs, EDI, and middleware concepts.
- Strong analytical capability to translate business requirements into system, integration, and reporting solutions.
- Familiarity with SAP, Data Lake, and integration platforms.
- Ability to ensure data quality, consistency, and validation across interconnected systems.
Soft Skills & Mindset:
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with global and local teams.
- Self-driven, structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced international environment.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive topics from initiation through completion.
- Strong problem-solving and documentation skills with high attention to detail.
Other:
Excellent English and Turkish communication skills, both written and verbal.
