Description
Senior Principal Manager – Procurement & Store
Lead the procurement and store teams to deliver centralized procurement services and efficient inventory management across the Group business units. Drive strategic oversight, supplier negotiations for optimal pricing/terms/delivery, and robust policies and procedures to ensure compliance, efficiency, and accountability.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee procurement and store teams in executing sourcing strategies, meeting technical specifications, quality, delivery, and competitive pricing while managing inventory, stock handling, distribution, record-keeping, and logistics
- Develop and implement group-wide and comprehensive procurement framework for cost efficiency, supplier/order consolidation, quality/process improvements, policy enhancements to strengthen compliance and governance and aligned with Group strategies
- Negotiate high-value volume discounts and terms with local/overseas suppliers; lead tendering process ensuring the outcome of the selection process is complied with the laws, rules and regulations and for the best interest of the Group
- Guide business units on quotations and making sound decisions, identify new suppliers, and resolve complex procurement/store issues
- Conduct ongoing evaluation of best practices; analyze market data/trends, deliver performance reports, and recommend policy/procedural updates
- Maintain leadership of the centralized procurement and store functions, including but not limited to ongoing system optimization, stock control, and adaptation to evolving business challenges
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- Around 15 years of procurement experience, including store/inventory management with at least 6 years in managerial position
- Familiar with procurement practices, store/inventory management, and operations
- Strategic leadership with proven ability to drive compliance, efficiency, and team accountability
- Proactive, highly motivated with strong initiative and analytical skills
- Skillful in vendor management and with experience in comprehensive tendering process
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement/inventory systems
- Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin and negotiation skills
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Executive Manager
