Laundry Attendant

The Job

As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for washing all Washes all soiled linens, towels, napkins, tablecloths, or other assigned items and ensures they are properly ironed, folded and stocked according to department procedures and standards to exceed guest satisfaction. Maintains cleanliness of the laundry room. Reports damage or mechanical deficiencies. Delivers linens to linen closets, restaurants or designated areas. Stocks, re-stocks and stores the housekeeping cart according to prescribed housekeeping, safety and security procedures and regulations.

Returns any items found in guest rooms, hallways, or back of the house to the Housekeeping department and logs appropriate information such as the date, where it was found, description of the item, and the name of the person who found it.

Notifies management of unsafe conditions, needed maintenance of any rooms or equipment and any accidents.
