Full-Time | $18-$20/hour
Monday-Thursday 7:30 AM-6:00 PM | Friday 8:00 AM-1:00 PM

The Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support to healthcare professionals while delivering compassionate, quality patient care. This role helps keep daily clinical operations organized and ensures patients receive a positive, efficient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, check patients in/out, and maintain accurate records
- Obtain and document patient histories, vital signs, test results, and other medical information while maintaining confidentiality
- Prepare examination and treatment rooms, equipment, and instruments
- Maintain medical supply inventory and stock exam rooms
- Prepare and administer medications under physician direction and supervision
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, patient care, and pre-/post-procedure transfers
- Provide compassionate support to patients and families
- Manage appointment scheduling, rescheduling, follow-ups, and waitlist opportunities
- Document reasons when follow-up appointments cannot be scheduled before the patient leaves
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other applicable healthcare regulations
- Complete required annual training and other duties as assigned
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of healthcare experience
- Medical Assistant certification, if required by applicable regulations
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and recordkeeping skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain strict patient confidentiality
- Knowledge of medical terminology, spelling, and office ethics
