12 hr shift/daysEnvironmental Conditions
Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Standing for full shift, Strong Odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products etc.), Will work with hazardous/toxic materialsJob Description

Shift: Thursday - Saturday Days, 6:00am - 6:00pm
Shift Differential: 10%

How will you make an impact?
Safely manufactures high-quality pharmaceutical products according to established schedules.
A Day in the Life:
Process/manufacture products in accordance with written processing orders
Prepare manufacturing areas and equipment for the production of pharmaceutical products
Clean processing equipment and rooms in accordance with written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Provide assistance and training to Formulation Technician I
Effectively troubleshoot equipment they are trained on
Provide feedback and process improvement suggestions
Ensure product quality meets the standards of Thermo Fisher Scientific, our clients, and applicable regulatory agencies including, but not limited to the Health Products and Food Branch Inspectorate (HPFBI), United States Food & Drug Administration (FDA), and European Medicines Agency (EMEA)
Follow the required Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements
Maintain a safe working environment and report potential hazards
Perform alternating or rotating shift work
How you will get here:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of previous related experience in either powder blending/granulation, tablet compression and/or coating, with exposure in the areas of dispensing, liquids/semisolids and tablet printing manufacturing
Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to maintain records of activities as instructed
Ability to follow instruction with attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Works well with limited supervision in a team environment
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
Excellent understanding of Standard Operating Procedures
Excellent understanding of safety standards
Mechanical interest/aptitude
Proficiency using Microsoft Office software applications
Proficiency with the English language
Physical Requirements:
Position requires ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination sufficient to move about manufacturing/office locations; ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch periodically for prolonged periods of time; manipulation (lift, carry, move) of light to medium weights of up to 40 pounds; arm, hand and finger dexterity; visual acuity to operate equipment, and read materials for prolonged periods of time; ability to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear for prolonged periods of time
Usually in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from such things as dust, loud noise, bright lights, fumes or odor
Use of Personal Protective equipment is required and may include any of the following: safety glasses, safety shoes, lab coat, gloves, hair net, beard cover, safety apron, respirator
