A Dispatch Manager at White Cap…

• Manages, recruits, and hires all Delivery Drivers and Dispatchers.

• Ensures delivery trucks are loaded and operated in compliance with all safety standards.

• Ensures Drivers are routed effectively to meet planned and unplanned delivery commitments.

• Ensures vehicle fleet is properly maintained.

• Minimizes turn-around times through direct supervision of Drivers.

• Works with Warehouse Manager to ensure seamless integration of Delivery and Warehouse operations and proper inventory controls.

• Works closely with Inside Sales and Account Managers to resolve delivery issues, reroute trucks and make unplanned vendor pickups.

• Develops and maintains expert knowledge of the branch delivery area geography.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Generally has 7+ years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience

• Experience with routing software.

• Experience with DOT regulations and driver safety programs.

Pay Range

$61,300.00-$88,900.00 Annual

Virginia law requires the posting of the salary range for advertised jobs.  This range is determined based on market data and internal pay practices to establish a minimum and maximum value for a job. Individual base pay is determined based on a variety of elements including experience, skills, internal equity and other factors.
