Position Overview:

Analyzes inventory and supply needs. Duties include inventory, purchasing, receiving and storing all food and supplies to ensure quality, minimal waste & cost control. Other responsibilities include stockroom maintenance, delivery inspections and ensuring Federal, State and local compliance.

Job Description:

EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

• HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

• 1 year of recent relevant experience.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Previous experience with food cost controls and inventory controls.
• Thorough knowledge of food specs on all items ordered.
• Familiarity of food production and plating specifications to aid in identification of potential waste.
• Knowledge of and proper use of telephone etiquette, 10-key adding machine, knowledge of spreadsheets, pallet jack, kitchen equipment specs and scales.
• Literacy in English and mathematics in order to complete requisitions, read invoices of incoming goods, price goods and to record accurate quantities.

Pay Range is $33.66 to $47.12 / hour

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
