M&E Project Supervisor

M&E Project Supervisor – Canary Wharf

Up to £55,000 plus package | Permanent | Monday to Friday

Our client is seeking an experienced M&E Project Supervisor to support the safe, efficient delivery of construction and building services projects within a prestigious commercial environment in Canary Wharf. This is a hands-on role combining contractor supervision, technical coordination, compliance and project reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the on-site point of contact for project works, inspections, surveys and contractor activity, including out-of-hours works where required.
• Coordinate third-party suppliers across electrical, HVAC, plumbing and wider building services.
• Process permits, review RAMS and conduct isolations in line with site procedures.
• Carry out project-area walk-rounds, identify risks and snags, and support health and safety inspections.
• Ensure contractors and project teams comply with operating procedures, safety requirements and site standards.
• Arrange engineering attendance, obtain supplier quotations and resolve delivery issues.
• Maintain accurate project records, ensure handover documentation is complete and produce clear weekly status reports for senior stakeholders.
• Work closely with health, safety and environmental teams to improve processes throughout the project lifecycle.

About You

• Recognised electrical qualifications.
• At least six years’ building services experience within a commercial or facilities management environment.
• Strong experience supervising contractors and working with supply partners to deliver integrated services.
• Practical knowledge of permits, RAMS, isolations and safe systems of work.
• Confident communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to contractors, colleagues and senior stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, supported by good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• A service-led, proactive approach with a commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
