Title: Ranger Connection Staff Member
Reports To: Ranger Connection Store Manager
Status: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week
Classification: Hourly, Non-Exempt
The Ranger Connection staff member is responsible for assisting the Store Manager with the operations of the store. The staff member will manage inventory, work the register, organize items within the store, and work in the electronic point-of-sales system.

The Ranger Connection staff member is responsible for assisting the Store Manager with the operations of the store. The staff member will manage inventory, work the register, organize items within the store, and work in the electronic point-of-sales system.
Essential Functions
- Assists the Store Manager in running the Ranger Connection during normal business hours and after hours as needed.
- Organizes and replenishes inventory on the floor and within online platforms.
- Manages a register and assists customers with sales.
- Assists with inventory management and reporting.
- Transports inventory from local vendors to the store as needed.
- Completes other ad hoc tasks and work as needed within the Ranger Connection spirit store.
Qualifications
- Retail store experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels in the organization, school guests and volunteers.
- Advanced writing skills with an ability to effectively communicate with vendors.
- Ability to efficiently deal with multiple priorities, functions and activities.
- Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and other programs within the Microsoft Office suite and Dropbox.
- Experience with point-of-sales systems and online platforms.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- Occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
- Generally works in standard retail store conditions and climate.
- Works in a highly stressful environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines and a varied and diverse array of contacts.
- May stand for extended periods of time.
