About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to join VGS on a 6–12 month contract and help support our growing Engineering organization. This person will own a portfolio of technical roles end-to-end and partner closely with hiring managers to identify, engage, and close exceptional talent.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities move quickly and recruiters are expected to operate with a high level of ownership and autonomy. Depending on VGS's growth trajectory and hiring needs, there is potential for this position to convert to a full-time role.

What You’ll Do 

• Own full-cycle recruiting across multiple technical roles, from kickoff and sourcing through offer and close

• Partner closely with Engineering leaders and hiring managers to define profiles, develop recruiting strategies, and keep searches moving

• Proactively source and engage highly qualified passive technical talent

• Conduct recruiter screens and effectively assess both technical alignment and overall fit

• Manage multiple searches and competing priorities in a fast-moving environment

• Create a strong candidate experience throughout the entire interview process

• Use recruiting data and funnel metrics to identify challenges and adjust search strategies

• Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data within our ATS

• Help improve recruiting processes, interview practices, and hiring efficiency as we scale

What You Bring

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong focus on technical/engineering hiring

• Proven experience recruiting for roles such as Software Engineering, Infrastructure, SRE, Platform Engineering, or other highly technical positions

• Experience working in a fast-paced startup, high-growth technology company, or similarly dynamic environment is required

• Strong sourcing skills and demonstrated ability to identify and engage passive technical talent

• Comfortable independently managing multiple searches at different stages

• Strong hiring manager partnership and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to move quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and operate with limited oversight

• Excellent communication, organization, and candidate management skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with tokenization, payment processing, or security products

• BA/BS degree

• A knack for out-of-the-box thinking that thrives in a fast-paced startup environment

• Experience with Lever is highly preferred
