About the Company
About the Role
You will work directly with the CEO, to manage the company's content and engagement cadence, optimize the website for search, maintain HubSpot marketing infrastructure, and test new acquisition channels.
This is a hands-on, operational role for someone who is comfortable executing independently, working across multiple marketing channels, and using data to measure what is and isn't working.
Core KPIs
MQLs are contacts who submit a landing page, gated content, or website form as a result of marketing-driven traffic, including:
- Organic LinkedIn
- SEO / GEO
- Newsletter
- Google Ads and other PPC
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Organic Content
- Manage the CEO and company's posting cadence across LinkedIn and X.
- Maintain and manage the content calendar.
- Monitor engagement and respond to relevant interactions.
- Identify opportunities to improve organic reach and engagement.
- Work closely with the CEO on content timing, messaging, and distribution.
Blog & Newsletter
- Manage the distribution and ongoing execution of the RevOps, SaaS metrics, and AI-data newsletter.
- Manage newsletter scheduling, distribution, and audience growth.
- Long-form content creation will remain in-house with the CEO for the time being.
SEO / GEO
- Own website content structure and organization.
- Conduct keyword research and identify relevant opportunities.
- Manage keyword targeting and on-page optimization.
- Improve the structure and SEO performance of priority pages.
- Track SEO-related performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and deploy machine-readable JSON formats alongside website content to optimize indexing by AI search engines.
- Leverage Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies to improve brand visibility across AI search tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity.
HubSpot & Marketing Operations
- Manage HubSpot marketing operations.
- Maintain lead capture infrastructure and forms.
- Create and manage lists and segmentation.
- Support campaign setup and tracking.
- Maintain accurate source attribution and marketing data.
- Audit and improve existing HubSpot workflows, lists, and campaign infrastructure.
Paid Advertising
Google Ads and other
- Setup and structure targeted paid search campaigns across Google Ads and performance channels.
- Conduct ongoing keyword research, negative keyword refinement, and competitive analysis.
- Create, test, and optimize high-converting ad copy and landing page messaging.
- Ensure robust conversion tracking and attribution are properly configured.
- Optimize bids and budget pacing to maximize Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) and drive high-intent MQLs.
Performance Marketplaces
- Capterra
- Software Advice
- GetApp
- Profile setup and optimization.
- Category placement.
- Testing marketplace positioning and messaging.
- Tracking leads and acquisition performance.
- Evaluating channels based on lead volume, lead quality, and CAC.
LinkedIn Paid Advertising
- Support LinkedIn paid advertising once organic messaging and positioning have been validated.
- Paid advertising is not expected to be a day-one responsibility.
Technology & Tools
- HubSpot Marketing Hub: Lead capture, lists, campaigns, segmentation, and marketing administration.
- LinkedIn: Company page management, scheduling, engagement, and content distribution.
- X: Organic posting and engagement.
- SEO tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar platforms.
- AI tools: Highly proficient in using AI for marketing workflows, copy generation, automation, and the creation/use of outbound agents.
- Google Ads: for PPC
Nice to Have
- Experience with newsletter or ESP platforms such as Substack, beehiiv, or HubSpot Email.
- Familiarity with performance marketplace platforms such as Capterra, G2, Software Advice, or GetApp.
Required Experience & Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in growth marketing, demand generation, or a similar role, preferably within a B2B SaaS company.
- Hands-on experience managing HubSpot.
- Experience managing content calendars and social media posting cadence.
- Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals, including:
- On-page optimization
- Keyword targeting
- Website content structure
- Strong operational mindset and ability to manage multiple marketing initiatives independently.
- Comfortable treating marketing channels as measurable experiments and using data to determine what works.
- Strong proficiency with AI tools, particularly for marketing automation, copy generation, and outbound agent creation.
- Strong conversational and reading English.

- Audit and clean up HubSpot lists and campaigns.
- Establish a consistent LinkedIn posting cadence.
- Set up and optimize marketplace profiles on:

- Establish a consistent X and LinkedIn engagement cadence.
- Begin on-page SEO work on priority website pages.
- Launch marketplace experiments and begin generating trackable lead data.
- Establish baseline performance metrics for organic and marketplace acquisition.
First 90 Days
- Track newsletter list growth against an agreed target.
- Track LinkedIn organic-sourced MQLs against an agreed target.
- Evaluate marketplace channels based on CAC and lead quality.
- Provide a clear recommendation on which marketplace channels should be continued, adjusted, or discontinued based on performance.
