As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Entry Control in Topton, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Security Experience:

• Candidates must have a minimum of one year of relevant security experience (C115). This experience should be clearly outlined in the candidate's resume and discussed during the interview process.

Valid Driver's License:

• A valid driver's license is required for all candidates, and it must be issued in the state where the job is located (C124). Candidates should provide a copy of their driver's license during the application process.

Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet:

• Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using a computer or tablet (B204). This includes familiarity with basic software applications and the ability to navigate digital platforms effectively. Assessments may be conducted during the interview to evaluate this skill.

Customer Service Experience:

• A background in customer service is essential for candidates (B219). Applicants should have experience in interacting with customers, resolving issues, and providing support. This experience should be highlighted in the resume and discussed in detail during the interview.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles according to site procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and logs for visitor activity, incidents, access-control events, and shift observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
