Wells Fargo is seeking an Investment Banking Vice President to lead Corporate FX sales and marketing activity across our corporate client base. In this role, you will manage and grow senior client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and deliver tailored foreign exchange risk management solutions that support clients' commercial and financial objectives.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to corporate clients, providing strategic guidance on foreign exchange exposures, hedging strategies, and market developments. Leveraging deep expertise in FX markets, derivatives, and corporate risk management, you will structure and execute complex transactions, develop client strategies, and help drive long-term relationship growth and wallet share.

Working closely with Banking, Rates Sales, Trading, Structuring, and other partners, you will lead coordinated client coverage efforts, influence strategic client planning, and deliver integrated solutions that address evolving client needs. The successful candidate will combine strong commercial judgement, market insight, and relationship management skills to drive sustainable revenue growth while maintaining the highest standards of risk management and regulatory compliance.

At Wells Fargo, we value collaboration, innovation, and inclusion, and we are committed to creating an environment where employees can grow and make a meaningful impact for our clients.

In this role you will:

  • Originate and market foreign exchange derivative solutions tailored to corporate clients’ commercial and financial risk management objectives.

  • Price, structure, negotiate and execute foreign exchange transactions directly with clients, in partnership with Trading and Structuring.

  • Manage day-to-day client coverage, including transaction execution, trade follow-up and customer service requests; develop high-quality client pitch materials and deal documentation.

  • Provide timely foreign exchange market insight, trade ideas and risk management recommendations to support client engagement.

  • Coordinate with Banking, Corporate Finance, Trading and Structuring to identify opportunities and deliver integrated solutions.

  • Apply strong knowledge of foreign exchange markets, derivatives and corporate hedging techniques to advise clients.

  • Build trusted relationships with clients and work effectively with all support areas to deliver a superior client experience.

  • Prioritise and independently execute a wide range of internal processes, client requests and transactions of varying complexity.

  • Drive revenue growth, disciplined client planning, process improvement and platform efficiencies.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, including MiFID, EMIR and Dodd-Frank, as relevant.

  • Adhere to risk management fundamentals and promptly escalate conduct, legal, compliance or operational risk issues to senior management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive Securities Sales experience, preferably covering corporate clients and foreign exchange derivatives.

  • Strong knowledge of foreign exchange markets, derivative products, and corporate risk management techniques.

  • Demonstrated ability to originate business opportunities, manage client relationships, and deliver results across multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Experience developing and presenting client materials, market analysis, and risk management recommendations.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and build credibility with senior clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Sound judgement and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Energetic self-starter who is proactive, organized, flexible, and highly motivated.

  • Strong work ethic, initiative, and commitment to continuous learning.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Job Expectations:

This position is deemed to be a Certified Person function under the FCA and PRA Certification Regime. You must at all times remain fit and proper to perform your role, and this will be assessed on at least an annual basis.

  • You must be open and cooperative with the FCA, the PRA and other regulators.

  • You must pay due regard to the interests of customers and treat them fairly.

  • You must observe proper standards of market conduct.
