We are seeking an ambitious and proactive Finance Advice Expert IV who will be part of the small central ING Hubs Finance team, and who will help in achieving the overall financial oversight of the company. This includes financial and management reporting (for local and group purpose), controlling as well as advising the Finance Advice Lead, the ING Hubs global management team, head office Finance and the CFO to COO CTO on relevant financial and non-financial matters.

The Team:

You will partner with the Finance teams in the Hubs and contribute to the development and rollout of the organization's finance vision and strategy by safeguarding financial results, and help in creating and executing various initiatives to further improve the ING Hubs finance processes, controls and results.

The Finance Advice Expert IV reports to the ING Hubs Lead Finance Advice III and is based in Amsterdam.

Your responsibilities:

  • Help oversee the consolidated business advice activities, ensuring high-quality and efficient processes across ING Hubs. This includes coordination of budgeting, financial planning and financial analyses
  • Monitoring and analyzing financial results, identifying risks and proposing corrective actions.
  • Be a force behind initiatives to accomplish cost optimization and efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business management, HR and legal supporting business and financial objectives.
  • Help develop and implement policies and procedures that align with the company's strategic and financial goals. This includes a.o. the ING Hubs pricing policy, dividend and capital policy and the resolution policy.
  • Monitor and manage financial controls, ensuring the integrity of financial information.
  • Assist in timely preparation of the ING Hubs consolidated Financial Statements.

How to Succeed:

  • University degree required - finance, accounting or related.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret and present financial data.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as controller or comparable position in the area of ​​finance.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Knowledge of cost accounting within a shared services center.
  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS/IFRS)
  • Knowledge of tax law and accounting standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of financial tools and systems.
  • Proactivity, results orientation and effective team cooperation.
