POSITION SUMMARY:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform and oversee ski and snowboard equipment tuning, repair, testing, and maintenance in accordance with industry standards.
- Manage inventory and supply levels, coordinate purchasing needs, and maintain current shop standards, equipment, and repair practices.
- Oversee point-of-sale operations, transaction accuracy, and established financial control procedures.
- Maintain required operational and safety records; promote compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, including hazardous material handling and disposal.
- Lead safety and service initiatives, fostering a culture of safety and exceptional guest service.
- Manage facility security, including opening and closing procedures, and coordinate with Facilities to maintain safe access to shop locations.
- Monitor shop performance and implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency, guest satisfaction, and profitability.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Recreational Services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum three years of experience in rental operations, equipment tuning/repair, or hard goods sales, including supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead staff, manage operations, resolve guest and employee concerns, and deliver exceptional guest service.
- Experience with RTP systems is preferred.
- Must have strong communication, problem-solving, and computer skills.
- Weekend and holiday availability is required.
