Job Description

As a Security Officer TWIC Vehicle Inspection Driver in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position supports a caring, people-first culture through teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, unauthorized access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, process areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain required logs, and report unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership, documenting incidents and observations in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
