Team Description:
Within GP, the Procurement Transformation & Remediation (T&R) team underpins and enables the ambitions of GP through partnering and strong alignment across the function to deliver transformation, defining learning & development and unlocking value creation.
They cover Data & Analytics, Product Management, Strategic Procurement Process, Performance & Governance, Strategy & Engagement and Group Vendor Management Office, Third Party Contracting, and Contingent Workforce Management.
T&R Control Design: Control Workstream Objectives focus on establishing a robust and consistent control process across the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle with clear governance, defined ownership and measurable control effectiveness.
1.Control Identification: Ensure necessary controls* are in place across the entire sourcing lifecycle to ensure risks are addressed consistently (close control gaps and remove duplication)
2.Control Governance: Establish clear control standards, ownership and RACI, supported by governance framework to oversee control compliance, escalation and continuous improvements (including recertification and maintenance)
3.Control Implementation & Monitoring: Ensure controls are implemented, evidenced and measurable through clear attestations, supporting tools and data to monitor design effectiveness in alignment with process and strategy
Role Description:
- Establishes reliable, standardised data foundations for contract lifecycle management, ensuring consistent capture, storage and accessibility of contract and control-related data.
- Supports reporting, obligation management and control monitoring, enabling visibility of contract performance, compliance and risk across third parties.
- Ensures alignment between data, controls and technology (e.g. CLM platform), enabling integration into the broader GP TOM and analytics capabilities.
The TPC Controls- Data AVP is responsible for supporting the development, enhancement and implementation of data requirements by building standardised data and reporting across the end-to-end contract lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Establish reliable, standardised data foundations for contract lifecycle management, ensuring consistent capture, storage and accessibility of contract and control-related data.
- Support reporting, obligation management and control monitoring, enabling visibility of contract performance, compliance and risk across third parties.
- Ensure alignment between data, controls and technology (e.g. CLM platform), enabling integration into the broader GP TOM and analytics capabilities.
- Partner with Risk, Procurement, HR, Legal and Technology teams to implement effective data and reporting.
- Maintain data documentation, standards and relevant mappings.
- Provide data subject matter expertise to programme workstreams and key stakeholders.
Skills:
- Strong quantitative skills.
- Experience in data architecture, capture and storage.
- Dashboarding and reporting skills.
- Experience with IT systems and tools – Power Automate, Vizier etc.
- Comfort with AI tools.
- Experience in Procurement or related functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work across business, risk, technology and operations teams.
- Experience supporting change, remediation or transformation initiatives.
- Strong documentation and attention to detail.
- Experience in Financial Services or other regulated environments preferred.
- Knowledge of contingent workforce management, third-party risk, HR or procurement processes is advantageous.
- Relevant qualifications in Risk, Audit, Compliance, Business Management or Project Management are beneficial.
