Civil Designer

What you’ll do
As a Civil Designer, you'll work closely with engineers, designers and project teams to develop high-quality civil design documentation and models across a variety of projects.
In this role, you'll:
- Prepare civil models, drawings and design documentation using industry-standard software
- Support the delivery of a variety of projects with a focus on Buildings Civil Defence projects across South Australia and nationally
- Work within multidisciplinary project teams, collaborating with structural, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and architectural disciplines
- Assist with the development and coordination of design solutions through all project phases
- Participate in BIM and model coordination activities
- Contribute to quality assurance and design review processes
- Assist with project delivery through accurate and timely documentation
- Continue developing your technical capability under the guidance of experienced senior designers and engineers
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years' experience in civil drafting, modelling or design within an engineering consultancy, contractor or infrastructure environment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, 12d and/or Civil 3D
- Experience delivering civil design documentation and models across buildings, land development and/or infrastructure projects
- Exposure to multidisciplinary project environments and coordination with other design disciplines
- Experience working alongside BIM teams or participating in BIM coordination activities will be highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality technical documentation
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- A proactive approach to learning and professional development
- The ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance
