Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Digital Logbook in South San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and contribute to a caring, reliable team at Allied Universal that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and clients at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and vendor activity in accordance with site procedures; document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in required reports.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by providing directions, addressing routine inquiries, and reporting suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
