About the role 
 

We are seeking a Financial Planning Analyst to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. In this role, you will support Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities across Tennis Australia, working closely with the wider Finance team and stakeholders across the business. 

You will play a key role in delivering financial insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. By providing meaningful analysis, reporting and forecasting, you will help drive organisational performance while identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance business outcomes. 

 
In this role you will: 

• Lead monthly financial reporting, forecasting and performance analysis, delivering insights and commentary to support business decision-making and organisational performance.  

• Support the preparation, consolidation and review of Tennis Australia's annual budget and forecasting processes. 

• Partner with stakeholders and Finance Business Partners across key business areas to deliver financial analysis, reporting and commercial support. 

• Monitor financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to enhance organisational outcomes. 

• Drive continuous improvement across FP&A processes, reporting and systems, while supporting external reporting requirements, audits and ad hoc analysis. 

About you 

To be successful in this role you will have: 

• Proven experience within a complex organisation, professional services environment, or similar. 

• Strong financial analysis, modelling and advanced Excel skills, with experience working across financial systems and reporting platforms. 

• Demonstrated ability to identify, implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives. 

• Appropriate qualifications including a bachelor's degree, with CA or CPA accreditation (or currently working towards completion). 

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of an organisation. 

• Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check. 

• Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia.
