This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

Blue Origin's TeraWave Operations is building a first-of-its-kind satellite connectivity manufacturing capability, and we are seeking a Materials Handler III to be an integral part of making it a reality.

We are a team of collaborators, doers, and problem-solvers who are relentlessly committed to a culture of safety and operational excellence. As a Materials Handler III, you will serve as a critical steward of inventory accuracy, ERP system integrity, and materials readiness - directly enabling our teams to build the hardware that powers next-generation satellite connectivity at scale. Your precision, reliability, and attention to detail will be essential as TeraWave scales toward full rate production.

What You Will Do

  • Partner closely with production operations to proactively identify and resolve material challenges, ensuring uninterrupted execution of production needs

  • Execute sophisticated ERP system transactions with precision, including verifying packing lists, reviewing supplier documentation, and ensuring all receipts are accurately logged for Incoming Inspection

  • Issue parts to kanbans and work orders, kit and label parts with meticulous accuracy, and receive completed work orders in a timely and detail-oriented manner

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and department development efforts that drive operational efficiency and scalability

  • Maintain inventory accuracy through disciplined cycle counts, material handling, and adherence to established inventory control processes

  • Assist with Shipping and Receiving operations as needed, including stocking production and shipping consumables

  • Uphold 5S standards and ensure accurate material presentation across all stockroom areas in collaboration with the Inventory Control Manager

What You Bring

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in Materials Management or Inventory Control

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Shipping and/or Receiving

  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems and transactional processes

  • Proficiency in inventory management including transactions, cycle counting, and material handling

  • Kanban experience

  • Solid math and computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

  • Demonstrated ability to build trust, maintain positive professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong background in ERP systems with experience managing materials requiring trace history and maintenance

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in material counting and transacting

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, customer-first mindset

  • Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions

  • Proactive problem-solving approach to inventory and material challenges

Base Pay Range for:

WA applicants is $31.11 - $43.54

Other site ranges may differ

  • Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing, vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.
  • Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
