Description
The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Radlett Depot. We are looking for multiple 7.5 Tonne drivers to join the team.
Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00am starts
Pay Rates: £17.61 PAYE Per Hour, over time after 40 hours £24.99 per hour PAYE

The role:
- Collections and deliveries required (deliveries will be up to 15 stops and collections up to 10).
- Manual handling heavily involved including loading and unloading parcels at depots and customer locations.
- Handling devices and company software to update delivery statuses
- Handle occasional push roller cages as needed, assisting sites with movement when required.
- Reversing in the yard and manoeuvring vehicles with precision, including shunting duties when required.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with company standards.
- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.
- Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
Requirements:
- Full UK licence with 7.5 tonne entitlement (CAT C1).
- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A safety-first mindset.
