NOTE: This role is onsite in our Scottsdale Warehouse 5 days a week, Monday through Friday.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Operations Support III role is responsible for ensuring the timely fulfillment of parts requests and orders for Smart Home Pro Installers, Service technicians, and Advisors/Project Managers. Key duties include managing warehouse inventory levels, facility upkeep, and providing support for purchase order-related tasks. The Warehouse Operations Support III has a substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete moderately difficult assignments with a wider impact on the department or team level.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Job Fulfillment & Warehouse Correspondence
Accountable for the quality and timeliness of deliverables in staging and pulling inventory based on project timelines and requests.
Manages and audits the shared warehouse email account, conveying and exchanging basic technical or procedural information with colleagues and knowledgeable audiences.
Normally receives little instruction on daily work and general instructions on newly introduced assignments. May be responsible for up-skilling new team members.
Inventory Control & Procurement
Oversees procurement for main stock and expense items, inventory monitoring, reorder point validation, and the creation of purchase orders.
Executes weekly cycle counting programs for high-velocity and high-value items, maintaining exact on-hand stock levels and tracking warranties.
Guided by defined processes but expected to adapt solutions to other varied problems, occasionally requiring fact-finding to fully understand an issue and coordinate the appropriate response.
Facility Operations & Returns Management
Processes complex dispositions of van stock items and unused or damaged products.
Independently collaborates with the Warehouse Service Technician to facilitate vendor returns while strictly following controls.
Oversees and maintains 5S procedures, general cleaning, and stock location.
Supports high-level redundancies in the warehouse as needed, including receiving, driving, service, dispositions, and projects.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES
Substantial understanding of computer systems and MS Office; Deep knowledge of Supply Management and Quality Control to support a wide range of moderately difficult assignments.
Strong documentation and reporting skills; Advanced forklift operation and warehouse equipment proficiency.
Ability to adapt solutions to various problems and conduct fact-finding to determine the appropriate response; Conveys basic technical or procedural information effectively to knowledgeable audiences; Excellent organization and customer service skills; Capable of up-skilling and training new team members.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES / CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 2-4 years of warehousing and logistics experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous exposure to warehousing and logistics (or equivalent with inventory management
