Course Publisher & Translation Coordinator - BeMultipliedPOSITION SUMMARY
The Course Publisher & Translation Coordinator supports the development and production of BeMultiplied’s biblical training materials by preparing, editing, formatting, and publishing English and translated courses according to established educational and production standards. This role coordinates the translation process for assigned languages, supports translators and editors, and helps ensure course materials are accurate, complete, consistent, and prepared for publication. The Course Publisher & Translation Coordinator works within established processes and timelines, maintains strong attention to detail and version control, and collaborates with the Curriculum Program Manager and other team members to support the timely production of high-quality resources that advance BeMultiplied’s mission.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

- Format translated and English courses according to established language and curriculum specifications.
- Edit and proofread translated and English courses to ensure accuracy, consistency, clarity, and adherence to established standards.
- Prepare translated and English courses publication and printing.
- Manage course graphics, ensuring required graphics are organized in appropriate folders and maintained in the correct file formats.
- Maintain version control and content integrity of curriculum materials across languages and formats.
- Upload and publish finalized courses to SharePoint for centralized access and distribution.
- Complete accurate documentation and intake forms and communicate changes to maintain up-to-date workflow visibility and timely tracking of course publishing and translation activities.
- Coordinate the translation process for assigned languages, including the exchange of files and deliverables and regular communication with translators and editors.
- Consult and collaborate with the Curriculum Program Manager to provide input on course prioritization and timeline development.
- Assist with evaluating and approving new translators and editors in accordance with established BeMultiplied standards and processes.
- Coordinate the sending and receiving of translation and editing files, ensuring materials are communicated accurately and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate translator and editor payments in accordance with established processes.
- Assist the Curriculum Program Manager with curriculum publishing, translation, and administrative processes as assigned.
- Identify and communicate issues that may affect the accuracy, quality, or timely completion of curriculum projects.
- Maintain clear, timely, and healthy communication externally and internally with team, supervisor and other BeMultiplied staff and leaders.
- Serve collaboratively as a member of the BeMultiplied global team, contributing to the ministry’s mission, culture, and shared objectives.
- Participate in Thursday ministry gatherings (including prayer meetings and monthly department meetings), staff meetings, conferences, and training events as requested. Remote participation may be used when appropriate and with supervisor approval.
- In-person participation in BeMultiplied staff conferences and organizational gatherings is required based on the employee’s role and as determined by the supervisor.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned in support of BeMultiplied’s mission, strategic priorities, and global training initiatives.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Budget Responsibilities: This position has no budget responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements listed below are representative of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required for the position:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum three years of experience in publishing and/or editing or a related field.
- Must attend and successfully complete all ongoing BeMultiplied development trainings as assigned.

- English language, oral, and written communication skills.
- Strong editing and proofreading skills.

- Personal computer, keyboarding, and work processing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word.
- Experienced in Adobe InDesign.
- Working knowledge of Asana or willingness to learn.
- Operating knowledge in Microsoft Office products and operating systems or willingness to learn.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds frequently.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the employee will work primarily in the usual office environment. However, if travel is involved, there may be strenuous physical conditions (e.g. long flights, extreme cold/heat, extensive walking, lodging/meals in impoverished areas, poor or heightened security, etc.).
