Are you detail-oriented, passionate about hospitality, and dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness? As a Housekeeping Inspector at The Courtyard Pittsburgh North, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests experience a spotless, comfortable, and welcoming "home away from home." You will inspect guest rooms and public areas to guarantee they meet Marriott’s rigorous brand standards, while also mentoring and supporting our housekeeping team.

Key Responsibilities

• Room & Area Inspections: Thoroughly inspect vacated and stay-over guest rooms, hallways, and public spaces to ensure pristine cleanliness, proper staging, and operational readiness.
• Quality Assurance: Enforce Courtyard brand standards, reporting any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or missing amenities immediately to the Housekeeper.
• Team Support & Mentoring: Provide constructive feedback and hands-on guidance to Housekeepers to help them improve efficiency and cleaning techniques.
• Inventory & Supplies: Monitor housekeeping cart organization, linen supplies, and cleaning chemicals, reporting shortages to management.
• Lost and Found: Properly log, secure, and manage any guest items left behind in accordance with hotel policy.
• Guest Satisfaction: Assist in resolving any guest cleanliness complaints promptly and professionally to ensure an exceptional stay experience.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of housekeeping experience in a hotel setting; prior inspection or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional eye for cleanliness, aesthetics, and detail.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills (bilingual English/Spanish is a plus).
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, and lift up to 25 pounds throughout a scheduled shift.
• Flexibility: Must be available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, as hotel operations require.
